What to wear under tight, sheer bridesmaid’s dress?
I have no idea what to do with this one and the wedding is in 2 weeks… The dress is floor-length, pale beige and practically see-through (so I need something that has the coverage of a slip), it has a low back and spaghetti straps (so I need a backless, strapless bra), it is tight around the bum (so I need either a thong or, preferably, some kind of seamless shaper shorts/capris), and its a fabric that shows every lump (so I need some sort of shaper so there aren’t any bumps). I am 5′10″ and wear a size 2-4. Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated! Thanks!!
Spanx! They make a strpless slip that slims you anywhere you have a problem. They also make pantyhose, etc. Check out their website.

We need suggestions for a big busted woman wearing a strapless/backless dress.?
I have a coworker who is about 5 feet and 100 lbs or so. However she has been blessed with a natural size D cup. She has a dress for a wedding that is strapless as well as backless. The problem is the dress does not give any support what so ever for her chest size. She has tried all the “stick on” gimmicks. The strapless bra that snaps around the lower back shows on the side. We need suggestions on how to help her!!! Anyone out there with suggestions? Please!!
The choice of dress was not hers. I would appreciate kind responses. I don’t need insults.
i dunno what the bra was called but i saw it on rachael ray so you could probably find it on her website! and she talked about this bra and it still has straps (but i think can switch them for clear or tan ones) and it works perfect with a backless shirt/dress and rachael had it modeled on a large chested women and it held them up very well! so if you can find that on her website then it would work!!
i own a bra which is strapless and instead of being normal at the back it is just a clear plastic strap, so yes it would still show but it wouldn’t be that noticable, i got mine at H&M
my other suggestion is depending on how much bra shows with the lower back strap one you could just alter the back of the dress slightly by pinning it to the bra so that it doesn’t show
and if that still doesn’t work then you could try just taping them! put something like the stick on bras on first so that they are protected then use normal tape and strap em down!

Are there strapless bras out there that actually work well for big busted women? Serious answers only please.
I’m looking for women who’ve had successful experiences with strapless bras, regardless of being top-heavy. I’m in the DD-DDD range depending on the bra and I’m wondering if similar-sized women can recommend a strapless bra? I’d love to wear strapless dresses in general, but I’ve been asked to be a bridesmaid next June, and I’m the only one of the attendants with this problem. Being able to wear a strapless dress would REALLY increase our chances of finding a dress we can all feel fabulous in.
Even back when I was in the C range, I had a strapless that was made by Vogue, but it always seemed to slide down even though it fit properly at first. I have no problem spending a reasonable amount of money to find one that’s comfortable and is going to stay in place.

YES! try the store called torrid. its for ful figured women, but you an get your bras there, they have them in strapless & clear strap. the store is in most malls or you could order online.
